HOW TO PROGRAM ECU IMMOBILIZER, KEYS WITHOUT THE NEED FOR A SCAN TOOL ON TOYOTA,LEXUS, SCION

You will learn how to program Toyota or Lexus or Scion cars wireless remote transmitter and immobilizer key by yourself without any special tools!!!

The steps below cover cars from 2005 – 2012, these year models I have tried and worked 100%. Carefully follow these steps and your good to go!

ITEM REQUIRED:

1, Paper Clip

STEPS:

1. After the new or used ecu had been swapped, open up the paper clip and insert into pins 4 and 13 of the OBD II port as shown in the diagram. Note, in most cars, pin 13 of the OBD II  port is empty, in some diagrams you will see it labeled NC (note connected) or Vendor Option. This means that, this method of reprogramming is unique to Toyota, Lexus, Scion cars.
2. Turn on the ignition key to the ON position, do not start the car. Get a timer and allow the paper clip in the port for 30 minutes. You may allow a few seconds more to compensate for inaccurate timing. You will notice lights blinking on instrument cluster, while waiting for the 30 minutes to run.
3. After the 30 minutes elapses, turn off the car and take out the paper clip.
4. Start the car!
