Description
Your water pump pushes coolant throughout the engine to aid in keeping it at operating temperature. It includes an impeller inside the engine’s water channel that is driven by a pulley attached to the engine’s belt. Over time, the water pump gasket, impeller, or bearing in the water pump may fail, causing coolant leaks, engine overheating, or steam coming from under the hood.
